Scriblet is a service owned and operated by FM3048 LLC, located in Cleburne, Texas, USA (“FM3048,” “Scriblet,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
Questions about this Privacy Policy may be sent to support@scriblet.io.
Scriblet helps organizations collect information from multiple contributors, interpret natural-language messages, organize that information according to the organization's chosen structure, and prepare it for presentation or other use.
Customer Content belongs to the customer that submitted or provided it. FM3048 does not claim ownership of Customer Content.
Customers grant FM3048 a limited right to access, process, store, transmit, and otherwise use Customer Content as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, maintain, and support Scriblet.
We use information to provide and operate Scriblet, including to interpret natural-language submissions, organize information, generate outputs, send confirmations and clarification questions, communicate with users, administer accounts and subscriptions, provide support, maintain security, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
Scriblet uses artificial intelligence to interpret and organize submitted information. Message and other Customer Content may be submitted to OpenAI or another AI provider used by Scriblet for processing.
Customer Content is not used by Scriblet to train AI models. FM3048 will use AI providers in accordance with the commitments applicable to the services it uses.
Scriblet sends and writes every text message itself. Each customer organization is assigned a dedicated Scriblet phone number so that Scriblet can route an inbound text to the correct organization's data; the number remains Scriblet's property and is not published. Scriblet emails the number directly to a contributor when an organization's administrator adds that person as a contributor.
Scriblet may send contributors and customers messages related to information collection, confirmations, clarification questions, corrections, schedules, service operation, and other requested functionality. Texts from a phone number that is not a registered contributor to that organization are not processed.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that they have the authority and any required consent to provide contact information to Scriblet and to request or authorize messages to be sent to contributors. Standard carrier or messaging charges may apply.
If you opt in to text messages from Scriblet, we collect your mobile phone number and the messages you send us in order to provide the service. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or text messaging opt-in data and consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except service providers that help us deliver messages.
Mobile/SMS privacy: Mobile information, including phone numbers, will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.
SMS opt-in and consent: Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent, including SMS opt-in status, will not be shared with third parties except as necessary to provide the requested messaging service. Scriblet may share SMS-related personal data with service providers that help us provide and deliver messages, including SMS platform providers, telecommunications carriers, and other vendors assisting with message delivery or messaging operations. Such providers may use the information only as reasonably necessary to provide those services and are not authorized to use SMS opt-in or consent information for their own promotional or marketing purposes.
Scriblet does not sell SMS opt-in information or consent, and does not transfer that information to affiliates or other businesses for promotional or marketing purposes. Any sharing of SMS opt-in or consent information is limited to what is reasonably necessary to provide, secure, maintain, or support the requested messaging service, or as required by law.
Where Scriblet collects SMS consent through an online opt-in form, the form should provide a clear, conspicuous disclosure that explains what messages the user is agreeing to receive and includes a readily accessible link to this Privacy Policy.
We may share information with service providers that help us operate Scriblet, such as cloud hosting, database, AI processing, email, SMS, payment, security, analytics, and technical support providers. These providers receive information only as reasonably necessary for their services.
SMS opt-in information is excluded from the general sharing categories described above. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. Except as required by law, SMS opt-in and consent information may be shared only with providers that assist Scriblet in providing the requested messaging service, such as messaging platform providers, telecommunications carriers, and vendors involved in message delivery or messaging operations.
We may also disclose information when required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, security, or property of FM3048, Scriblet, our customers, or others.
Scriblet is designed to retain Customer Content only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service.
Scriblet will generally retain date-specific or scheduled Customer Content until approximately 30 days after its associated date or scheduled use date. Scriblet will periodically identify and delete Customer Content whose associated date or scheduled use date is more than 30 days in the past.
Customer Content with a future scheduled date will not be deleted merely because it was entered into Scriblet more than 30 days ago. For example, a schedule entered two years in advance may remain available until approximately 30 days after the dates to which that schedule relates.
Information may be retained for longer when reasonably necessary to maintain an account, process transactions, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or abuse, maintain security, or fulfill another legitimate business purpose.
Customers may request deletion of their data by contacting support@scriblet.io. Deletion requests may be subject to legal, security, transactional, or other legitimate retention requirements.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Scriblet may use cookies, logs, analytics, or similar technologies as reasonably necessary to operate the website, understand usage, maintain security, and improve the Service. Specific technologies may change as the Service develops.
Scriblet is designed for organizations and their authorized users and is not directed specifically to children. Customers are responsible for ensuring that their use of Scriblet and any information they submit about children complies with applicable law. Where applicable, Scriblet will apply legally required protections concerning children's information.
Depending on applicable law, individuals may have rights concerning their personal information, including rights to access, correct, delete, or otherwise control certain information. Requests may be submitted to support@scriblet.io.
Scriblet relies on third-party services to provide certain functions. Those providers may process information under their own terms and privacy policies. Our use of such providers is intended to be limited to what is reasonably necessary for Scriblet's operation.
We may update this Privacy Policy as Scriblet develops or as legal and operational requirements change. The updated version will be posted with a revised effective date.
